Bridget Ferrari

I am a creative, action-oriented leader that is focused on moving climate ambition from strategy to action. I’ve spent 20+ years in procurement and supply chain across fast-paced industries, including pharmaceuticals, energy, and industrial companies. My focus has been consistent: turning strategy into decisions that actually get made.
At Takeda, I lead global supplier sustainability and decarbonization. The work has been less about programs and more about integration—embedding Scope 3 into sourcing so it shows up alongside cost, quality, and delivery. That shift helped move supplier engagement with Science Based Targets from ~19% to nearly 67%.
More recently, I’ve been developing a procurement-led model that closes the gap between commitment and execution—by embedding climate into sourcing and letting commercial decisions drive change.

Why we serve...

Amy Smack:

I serve on the Board of WBYC because I believe deeply in the power of community to help people navigate difficult experiences. WBYC’s mission resonates with me because it brings together education, connection, remembrance, and meaningful experiences to support children and families facing grief and loss. My background in education and community programming has given me a strong appreciation for creating welcoming spaces where people feel supported, connected, and empowered. I am particularly drawn to WBYC’s belief that grief and growth can coexist—that while we carry the people we have lost with us, we can also find ways to move forward with purpose, compassion, and hope.

Serving on the Board allows me to contribute my experience, perspective, and commitment to

community while helping WBYC expand its ability to support grieving families. I am proud to be

part of an organization that began with a community coming together to honor the life of one child and has grown into a mission to ensure that families experiencing profound loss do not

have to face it alone.
