Bodhi’s Big Five
Fund the Green House

This July, our son Bodhi turns five. Bodhi is a joyful force of love and curiosity, bursting with energy and wonder at the world around him. He is also a reminder of something quiet but powerful: that healing is possible when families are given time, space, and support to grieve.

Bodhi wouldn’t be here if we hadn’t been given that sacred time after our son William died. Nick took six months off work. We were held by community, by counseling, by the simple gift of breathing room. In that space, we came to understand how deeply off-balance we were. We grieved. We reconnected. And slowly, we made the decision to grow our family.

So many grieving families never get that chance. They return to work within days. They go back to survival mode. They don’t get the time to make sense of their new reality, or to imagine a future that still holds beauty. That’s why we’re building The Green House, a free grief retreat home for families like ours. A space for rest, reflection, reconnection, and even the hope of a new beginning.

For Bodhi’s 5th birthday, we’re asking for donations in his honor to help us get The Green House built. Your gift will help other families receive the same precious gift we were given: the chance to grieve in a safe, loving place, together.

Let Bodhi’s birthday be a beacon of hope. Help us build something beautiful from the deepest heartbreak.
