Join us for WBYC's annual Brighten the Night event on December 19th, as we come together to honor loved ones, raise awareness for grief and mental health, and remember William Shaw, who tragically passed away on February 19, 2019, while in the 3rd grade.

We invite our entire community to participate by purchasing a luminary kit and lighting up your walkway, driveway, or sidewalk after sunset on December 19th. Each kit, priced at $25, includes 10 luminary bags, 10 tea lights, and instructions for decorating your bags. You can also choose to have your address added to the Brighten the Night map, which will guide participants to homes and businesses around Carlisle that are taking part in the event.

 

This year, we are offering the opportunity to honor a loved one by adding their name to our remembrance list, which will be read aloud on the Town Common at 6:30 PM on December 19th. Together, we will shine a light on grief awareness, mental health, and the legacy of William Shaw.
